Jane Stephens Astolos

Jane Stephens Astolos, 60, of Albany, GA, died Monday, February 6, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Chancellor will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Blakely, GA, Mrs. Astolos had resided in Albany, GA, for the past fifty years. She was employed with Oak Crest Academy Child Development Center and attended Lakeside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Stephens, Sr. and Frances Stephens.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Astolos, Albany, GA, a son, Scott Pettis and his wife Brandy Marie, Lee Co., GA, two sisters, Lois S. Ridley and Gail Peterman and her husband Ben all of Albany, GA, a brother, Horace Stephens, Jr. and his wife Reba, Mitchell Co., GA, four grandchildren, Jessica Murphy, Kayla Powell, Jeremy Pettis, Tyler Pettis and a great-grandchild, Cannon Murphy.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services at Mathews Funeral Home.
