Jamie Bruce Smith

Jamie B. Smith, 41, of Leesburg, GA, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in the Leesburg Cemetery.

Born in Americus, GA, Jamie grew up in Smithville, GA and attended Lee County Schools and graduated from Albany Technical College. Jamie owned and operated Smith's Fireplace Service and attended The Pointe. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Bruce Smith in 2010.

Survivors include his parents, Pattie (Grady) Smith of Leesburg, GA and Jack (Joyce) Smith of Smithville, GA, a brother, Rusty (Renee) Smith of Smithville, GA, a sister Maria Smith Pruitt of Douglas, GA, his friends, Trisha Reichman and his dog, Peanut.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Friday at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family will be at the residence of Jack and Joyce Smith 174 Church Street, Smithville, GA, 31787.
