James Wages

James L. Wages, 38, of Lee County, GA, died Saturday June 29, 2019 in Port St. Joe, FL.  Funeral services will be held Saturday July 6, 2019, at 11:00 A.M.  at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Mark Spraggins will officiate.  Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

James was born on March 17, 1981 in Albany, GA and grew up and lived in Lee County, GA all of his life.  He graduated from Lee County High School in 1999 and attended Darton College.  James loved the outdoors and loved to Fish and Hunt.  He had just started a new job with the RV Connection in Panama City, FL and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica L. Wages of Wewahitchka, FL, his two children, James Colton Wages and Dylan James Wages, his parents, Lloyd and Ellen Wages of Lee County, GA and a sister, Lisa Maria (Morgan) Odom of Lee County.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday at Mathews Funeral Home.
