James Wiley Tucker

James Wiley Tucker, 70, of Leesburg, GA died Monday, May 15, 2023 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Wiley was born March 28, 1953 in Pelham, GA to Preston Tucker, Sr. and Flossie Mae Lashley Tucker. He was raised in Albany, GA and graduated from Westover High School and Albany Technical College. After working for Carlton Caterpillar, Wiley opened his own company, Wiley’s Forklift and Equipment Repair. He enjoyed deer and dove hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his sons, Brandon (Jennifer) Tucker of Lee County, GA and Benny Ray Sauls of Albany, GA, his siblings, Preston (Sheila) Tucker, Jr. of Lee County, GA, Ronnie Tucker of Albany, GA and Mary Jane Tucker of Mitchell County, GA, and one grandchild, Talon Lee Tucker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
