Dr. James Everett McMillin, 84, of Albany, GA, died November 24, 2012 at his residence. No formal services will be held; however, the family will receive friends at 12:00 noon on December 2, 2012 following regular church services at the Fort Gaines Presbyterian Church.
A native and lifelong resident of Albany, GA, Dr. McMillin graduated from Albany High School in 1945 and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He graduated from Palmer Chiropractic School in Davenport, Iowa and practiced in Albany for over thirty years. Dr. McMillian was a member and Elder at Fort Gaines Presbyterian Church
Survivors include his wife, Edith Langford McMillian of Albany, GA, two daughters, Debbie Haley and her husband, John and Ginger Crocker and her husband, Bill all of Albany, GA, a son, Ken Johnson and his wife, Diane of Kennesaw, GA, his grandchildren, Ivan Crocker and his wife, Brooke, Meredith Crocker all of Thomasville, GA, John Vann of Eatonton, GA and Sam Johnson of Kennesaw, GA; And a great-granddaughter, Edie Crocker of Thomasville, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
