James D. McIntyre

James D. "J.D." McIntyre died Wednesday, October 05, 2016 at the Willson Hospice House.

His service will be Friday 3 PM at Mathews Funeral Home with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to service.

Born in Ousley, GA Mr. McIntyre was retired from MCLB as a supervisor and was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church. He served his nation during World War II in the Army Air Force and was a member of the VFW Post 2785.

He was preceded in death by a step daughter Debbie Dorminey and a step son Ronnie Frye.

Survivors include his wife Charlene Frye McIntyre, Albany, step sons, Tony Frye, Birmingham, AL, Jerry Frye, Homestead, FL, Ricky Cato, Snellville, Carey Cato, Leesburg, step son in law, Irvin Dorminey, sister, Ruth Kimbrell, Albany, sister in law Norma Russell, Lafayette, 12 step grandchildren and of step great grandchildren.
