James M. (Jim) Langley, 74, of Leesburg, GA passed away Friday, April 26, 2024 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. Pastor W. W. "Pete" Daughtry will officiate.
Born in Detroit, MI, Jim had resided in both Albany, GA and Leesburg, GA for the past fifty years. He attended the Dougherty Public School System and his high school sweetheart has now been his wife for sixty years. He loved to hunt and fish with his boys, he loved going on the spring break trip to the beach with his sons and now loved doing things with the grandsons, but due to his health he was limited. The love of his life was his rat terrier, Sassy.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Michael Langley and Wilma Doris Watson Langley and siblings, Kaye Marie Langley and John Michael Langley.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda K. Langley, sons, Jimbo Langley (Paige), Scott Langley (Britten) and Mark Langley all of Leesburg, GA, siblings, Vickie Wagner (Fran), Lake City, MI, Carole Kenny, Albany, GA, Marsha Richardson, Lake City, MI, Bern Langley (Glenn), New Port Richey, FL. and grandson, Ty Langley, Davis Langley, Ledger Langley and Colt Murphy (Kayla).
