James Lamar Holland, 67, of Lee County, GA, died June 28, 2019 at his residence. The family will hold a private graveside funeral service at his family lot at the Omega Cemetery in Omega, GA. Ross Powell and Biff Brimberry will officiate.
Lamar was born in Tifton, GA on October 2, 1951 to the late H.T. and Byrdie Holland. He was raised in Omega, GA and graduated from Tifton High School. Lamar moved to Albany, GA in 1970 and was employed with Aero Commander, Quality Coffee and Walker Electrical. He loved to hunt, was proficient at this craft and was a simple man with few words. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry Holland, Tatum Wayne Holland and Cecil Vernon Holland.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy H. Brimberry and his four step-sons, Biff Brimberry, John Brimberry, Steve Brimberry and Olin Brimberry.
