James "Jimmy" Hill Spargo

James H. “Jimmy” Spargo, 73, of Leesburg, GA, died August 3, 2018 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate.

Jimmy was a native of Albany, GA, born to the late Benjamin and Loraine Spargo on December 23, 1944. He had lived in the Albany and Leesburg area all of his life. He was a veteran of the Georgia Army National Guard, a former dairy farmer at Oak Hill Dairy, a truck driver and drove for AAA Transport Company. Jimmy was preceded in death by a brother, John Benjamin Spargo.

Survivors include his children, James (Dawn) Spargo, Randy (April) Spargo and Tammy Spargo (Robert Knight) all of Lee County, GA, Douglas Spargo of Blountstown, FL and Michelle (Justin) Grizzard of Baconton, GA, his siblings, Bobby Spargo and Frank Spargo both of Albany, GA and Linda Smith of Lee County, GA, eighteen grandchildren and twenty nine great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the residence of Linda Smith, 123 Stewart Court, Leesburg, GA 31763.
