James Lynn Hill

James Lynn Hill, 60, of Lee County, GA died August 3, 2014 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

A native of Borger, TX, Jim grew up in Beatrice, NE. He graduated from Beatrice High School and joined the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Jim was an aeronautical engineer and moved to Albany, GA when working for the FAA as a consultant to OMAC, Inc. Later he was a self- employed consultant until his retirement where he resided in Lee County, GA.

Survivors include his life companion, Erica Paul of Lee County, GA; a son, James D. Hill, two grandsons, Jaymeson Hill and Cameron Hill, all of Pensacola, FL; an aunt, LaQuita Hall of Kingston, OK; and a cousin, Myrna (Joe) Hart of Copperas Cove, TX. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Peggy and Dave Whaley, and a cousin, Woody Hall.
