James Carroll Henderson

James C. Henderson, 58, of Leesburg, GA died Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 17, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.

Born in Atlanta, GA, Mr. Henderson had resided in Leesburg, GA for the past forty three years. He was a row crop and cattle farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Jesse Henderson and Gladys Juanita Whittle Henderson.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Griffith Henderson, two sons and their wives, Mark Henderson (Amber), Brian Henderson (Jana) all of Leesburg, GA, two sisters and their husbands, Deborah Haire (Robert), Albany, GA and Lori Godwin (David), Leesburg, GA and two grandchildren, Kylie Henderson and Tyler Henderson.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
