James W. Eubanks

James Willie Eubanks, 84, died Monday, April 24, 2023. 

His memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Morgan City Cemetery.  Rev. Jim Eubanks will officiate. 

Born in Morgan, Mr. Eubanks lived most of his life in Calhoun County where he farmed and work as an insurance salesman for 58 years. He was a graduate of Morgan High School and the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Husbandry and taught school in Brooks County for 2 years. He had resided at Century Pines in Albany for the past three and half years.  

He loved to ride Tennessee Walking Horses, showing them for most of his life.  He also had a love for bird dogs, winning field trails and judging the field trails.  His heart belonged to his grandchildren which adored him greatly. 

He is survived by his sons, Jim Eubanks and wife Debbie, Jeff Eubanks and wife Susan, both of Albany, daughter, Jill Duncan and husband Ronnie, Davisboro, GA, grandchildren, Mallory Sandiford and husband Alan, Ocilla, GA Sgt. Logan Eubanks, Ft. Bragg, NC, Morgan O’Quinn husband Wesley, Statesboro, GA, Adam Eubanks, Albany, GA,  Noah Duncan, Athens, GA, Lilly Duncan, Davisboro, GA, great grandson, Nash Sandiford, his sister, Loyce Hilton, Dickey, GA, 2 great nephews and a great niece. 

In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA 31707. 

The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
