James Wesley Curtis

James Wesley Curtis, 46, of Dawson, GA, died July 27, 2015 at Phoebe Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Leesburg, with Dr. Todd Sullens officiating.

Born in Albany, GA, James was raised in Lee Co, GA, graduating from Lee County High School in 1987 and Albany Tech in 1997. James worked for the Albany Herald. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Ward Curtis, Sr. of Leesburg, GA.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy O. Norman Curtis, of Leesburg, GA, two sisters, Wanda Soloman and her husband Daniel, of Leesburg, GA, and Wendy Montgomery and her husband Brandon, of Sylvester, GA, one brother, Larry Ward Curtis, Jr, of Dawson, GA, and a niece and nephew, Elizabeth and Emerson Montgomery, both of Sylvester, GA.
