James L. Cook, Jr

James L. Cook, Jr., 90, of Leesburg, GA, died September 22, 2012 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, September 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.

A native of Worth County, GA, born to James L. Cook, Sr and Gladys Wise Cook, he had resided in Lee County, GA most of his life. Mr. Cook was a retired farmer and was a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his children, James R. (Bobby) Cook and his wife, Sandra, Diane Welch, Judy Wall and Mary Jane Corley and her husband, Steve, all of Leesburg, GA, Melvin Cook and his wife, Becky of Albany, GA, Steve Cook and his wife, Peggy of Waynesboro, GA and Mark Cook and his wife, Georgeann of Davisboro, GA, his sisters, Hazel Morey of Leesburg, GA, Mabel Glausier of Alabama and Sara Watson of Albany, GA, twenty two grandchildren, forty six great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Best Cook, a son, Tracy Cook, Sr, a daughter, Christine Pulver and his brothers, Harold Cook and Raymond Cook.
