James ""Jimmy"" Clifton

James "Jimmy" R. Clifton, of Albany, died Thursday, November 14, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Gillionville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Tony Haefs will officiate.

Moving from Atlanta Mr. Clifton had resided in Albany since 1980. He was a member of Gillionville Baptist Church, Stonebridge Golf and Country Club, and the Albany Exchange Club. He was employed with Ricoh Business Solutions as an office products salesman.

Survivors include his wife Cathy Clifton, one son Derek (Lori) Clifton of Atlanta, GA, two daughters Jennifer (Brent) Sapp, Britten (Scott) Langley both of Leesburg, GA, six grandsons Preston Brown, Cameron Brown, Landon Sapp, and Davis Langley of Leesburg, GA, James Clifton and Ben Clifton of Atlanta, GA, his mother Ruth Clifton of Leesburg, GA, and one brother Cecil (Jennie) Clifton of Davidson, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Jimmy Clifton to Gillionville Baptist Church 4614 Gillionville Road Albany, GA 31721.
