James Patrick Beasley

James Patrick Beasley, 39, of Albany, GA, passed away July 24, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. William “Butch” Knight will officiate. 

Born in Albany, GA, James Patrick Beasley attended Monroe Comprehensive High School. For several years he worked as an oyster shucker at A J's Oyster Bar in Albany. Most recently he worked in lawn care service.  He always had a friendly smile and a firm handshake for all he met.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Albany.

Survivors include his parents Jim and Mary Lou Beasley of Albany, GA, a brother John David Beasley of Albany, GA, a sister Melody Ann Cervantes and her husband David of Houston, TX, three nieces Gabriella Cervantes, Daniella Cervantes, and Isabella Cervantes, and one nephew Aidan Cervantes, all of Houston, TX, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
