James Marvin Bartlett

James Marvin Bartlett, 75, of Albany, Ga died Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

He was born December 14, 1941 in Crisp Co., GA. After graduating from high school he joined the U.S. Army and spent two tours of duty in Vietnam. After the service, he worked as a security officer for twenty five years with Pollard Security Agency, Inc. in Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father Charles M. Bartlett and step-father, Wiley Kent.

Survivors include his mother, Louise (Lou) Kent and a sister, Linda Griffin both of Albany, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.

As per his request, he will be cremated. There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
