Jacob David Shaddock, 41, of Albany, GA, died April 18, 2017 at his residence. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 5:00 PM at Leesburg Cemetery. Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor will officiate.
A native of Huntsville, TX, Jacob grew up in Thomasville and Albany. He attended Westover High School and The Art Institute of Atlanta, and was a member of Porterfield United Methodist Church. Jacob was a sweet and gentle soul who was always ready for a good time. He loved his family, blue-grass music, hunting, fishing and carrying on the family tradition of good cooking and big eating. He leaves behind his loving companion of thirteen years, his English Bulldog, Dice.
Survivors include his parents, Jim Shaddock of Plains, GA and Joan Murphy Shaddock of Albany, GA, a brother, Joshua Shaddock and his wife, Courtney of South Orange, NJ, a niece, Molly Shaddock and a nephew, Sam Shaddock. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ida and Wandell Murphy and Kenneth and Sue Shaddock.
