Jackie Aaron Wilson, 81, of Albany, GA, died May 31, 2018 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Sherwood Baptist Church. Dr. Michael C. Catt will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. American Legion Post # 30 will provide Military Honors.

Mr. Wilson was born in Dakota, GA on Oct. 30, 1936 to the late Edison and Nancy Wilson. He graduated from Turner County High School and joined the United States Navy. After his four years of service, Mr. Wilson was employed with Lockheed Martin in Atlanta, GA. He moved to Albany, GA in 1967 and was employed with the National Linen Service for thirty-two years retiring as Plant Manager. Mr. Wilson was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church, The Men Under Construction Sunday School Class and the American Legion Post # 30.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Katie L. Wilson of Albany, a son, Robert A. “Bobby” Wilson and his wife, Wendy of Dawson, a sister, Jean Wilson and her husband, Everett of Lancaster, MA, a brother, Ronald Wilson and his wife, Billie of Alma, GA, his grandchildren, Robert Aaron Wilson, II of Albany, and Saralyn E. Wilson and Addison J. Wilson both of Dawson.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at Mathews Funeral Home.
