Isaac (Jack) Newton Kennedy, Jr

Mr. Jack Kennedy of Lee County died Monday, February 15, 2016 at his residence.

His memorial service will be 2 PM Friday at Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Friday 1 to 2 PM in the Parlor at Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church

A native of Eustis, FL, Mr. Kennedy had lived in Lee County for the last 12 years moving here from Santee, SC. He was a retired Reginal Manager with Independent Life Insurance.

Mr. Kennedy was a World War II veteran serving with the 15th Army Air Corps 455th Bomb Group which conducted raids over Ploesti, Romania to stop the Nazi oil and fuel supply lines that helped in the victory in Europe.

Mr. Kennedy was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church and would attend First Presbyterian Church on occasions, member and Past President of the Golden K Kiwanis Club and member and Past President of the XYZ Club.

Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Claire Williams, Winter Park, FL, Bette Kennedy Seeley, Albany and a granddaughter, Katharine Kennedy Williams.
