Ina Ragnhild Sutton, 89, of Albany, GA died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Willson Hospice House. Services plans will be announced at a later date.
Ina was born in Lewistown, Montana and moved to Texas around 1941, where she met and married Joseph (Jody) Leland Abel on April 18, 1945. Their daughter Maggie Lou Sophia Abel was born in 1951 in Wichita Falls, TX. Jody died of a massive heart attack on May 14, 1953. She married Thomas (Red) F. Stewart in 1961 and their daughter Tammy Louise Stewart was born in 1963 in Onawa, IA. They later divorced. She married John Duncan Day in 1971. He died in 1984. She married Francis Aldreon Sutton in Dougherty County, GA in 1990. He died with Alzheimer's in 2005.
Ina starting working in retail as a make-up artist in her early twenties and continued her profession until she retired at the age of sixty five. Her career gave her the opportunity to work in Beverly Hills, CA at Saks Fifth Ave. where movie stars such as Cher Bono, Marlo Thomas, David Cassidy and many more were her clients. She led a very active and interesting life. She was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Camilla, GA until its closing in 2014.
Survivors include two daughters, Maggie Lou Abel, Albany, GA, Tammy Day Tabb (John), Panama City Beach, FL and four grandchildren, Preston Maier, Panama City Beach, FL, Ryan Hatcher, Leesburg, GA, Brooke Hatcher, Panama City Beach, FL and Joshua Hatcher, Leesburg, GA.
