Hugh Morgan Hays

Hugh Morgan Hays, 65, of Albany, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his residence. The family will hold a memorial service Saturday at 11:00 AM at Kamp Kirksey, 2416 Kirksey Road, Albany, GA 31705. Rev. Bruce English will officiate.

Born in Thomasville, GA, Hugh grew up in Albany, GA and graduated from Albany High School in 1969. He attended The University of Georgia and earned a BBA. He gained employment as a civil engineer with Fluor Daniel Construction in the seventies and remained with them his entire career retiring as a project manager. Hugh loved outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also enjoyed cooking and entertaining for family and friends. Hugh will be remembered by his devotion to family and friends.

Survivors include his son Morgan Hays, of Baltimore, MD, and brother Hank Hays of Albany, GA, and sister Kaellen Hays Roberts, of Clyo, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents Ruby and Henry Hays of Albany, GA
