Hubert Mark Goff

Hubert M. Goff, 90, of Albany, GA, died December 10, 2018. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Ross Powell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pelham City Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the American Legion.

A native of Pelham, GA, Mr. Goff graduated from Pelham High School and was living in Fitzgerald, GA when he entered the United States Army for four years during the Korean War serving from 1951-1952 and from 1955-1956. He had lived in Albany, GA most of his adult life and was a member of Harvest Temple Church of God. Mr. Goff was employed with the Marine Corps Logistic Base in Albany, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 30 and enjoyed Art and was an experienced Artist, Painter and Sketcher. Mr. Goff also enjoyed playing the Organ and watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include his two daughters, Vickie Barfield-Yarber and her husband, Jim of Albany, GA and Ellen Barfield of Burbank, CA, three sons, Danny Parker and his wife, Terry of Pensacola, FL, James Barfield of Columbus, GA and Bruce Barfield of Perry, GA, his grandchildren, Danny Parker, Windell Barfield, Celeste Hall and her husband, Raymond, Angela Owens and her husband, Rick, Chrystal Michie, Cassy Yarber, Rebecca Barfield, Evan Barfield and Kira Kachelhofer.

The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
