Hilda Lois Jones

Hilda Lois Bridges Jones, 84, of Baconton, GA, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.

Mrs. Jones was born in Shellman, GA and had resided in Baconton, GA for the past seven years moving from Albany, GA. Before retirement Mrs. Jones taught at Darton Junior College and was a member of Raleigh White Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Jones and a daughter, Sharon Elaine Harrison.

Survivors include three sons, Mike West (Jeannie), Colbert, AR, Stephen A. West (Debra), Baconton, GA, Dan C. West, Leesburg, GA, a brother, Albert Bridges (
Willie), Sylvester, GA, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
