Henry C. Aldridge, Jr.

Henry C. Aldridge, Jr., 76, of Lee County, GA, died September 24, 2022 at the Willson Hospice House.  Private family services will be held at a later date.

Henry was born at home in Mersham, GA on July 20, 1946 to Henry and Juanita Aldridge, Sr.  He moved with his family to Albany, GA when he was in the fifth grade, grew up there and graduated from Albany High School in 1964.  Henry continued his education at Auburn University and graduated with a degree in Textile Engineering. Upon graduation, he began his sales career in the textile industry where he was President of the Atlanta Textile Club.

Henry later moved to Atlanta, GA. where he met and married his wife, Donna and together raised their family there.

He and his wife owned and operated Touch of Glass Studio and Art Gallery, The Lion and Unicorn, a fine dining restaurant, and for 30 years, Accelerated Marketing Ltd., a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage.

He and his wife,  moved from Atlanta, GA to Smithville, GA in 2001 which was their last move.

Survivors include his wife, Donna G. Aldridge of Lee County, GA, his children, Kevin (Jodi) Shaw of Everett, WA and Amanda (Matt) Turkie of Santa Cruz, CA, his siblings, Tommy (Jane) Aldridge of Albany, GA and Pam (Monte) Cagle of Marietta, GA and four grandchildren, Eli Shaw, Kaleb Shaw, Ella Turkie and Slavador Turkie.
