Helen Irene Kirkpatrick

Helen Ayers Lane Kirkpatrick, 91, of Albany, GA, died October 6, 2013 at her residence. Her family will celebrate her life and she will be interred next to her late husband, Oliver Russell Lane on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery.

A native of Ebro City, FL, born to the late Benjamin Franklin Ayers and Annie McCroan Ayers, Mrs. Kirkpatrick graduated from Alpha High School in Alpha, FL and had resided in Albany, GA for many years. She was employed with Southern Bell as a Long Distance Operator and retired in 1983. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and was the widow of Mckinley Kirkpatrick.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Helen and Robert Henry Davidson of Sylvester, GA, a sister, Bennie Lee Fowler of Youngstown, FL, three grandchildren, Angie Hellinger and her husband, Randal of Doerun, GA, Robert Michael Davidson of Sylvester, GA and Jennifer Lineberry and her husband, Kerry of Acworth, GA, three great-grandchildren, Ivey Davidson, Bo Davidson and Jake Schell and six great-great-grandchildren.
