Helen Elizabeth Epps

Helen Elizabeth Epps, 68, of Worth County, GA, died April 30, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Ross Powell will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

A native of Donalsonville, GA, born to the late Benjamin and Ruth Hall, Helen grew up in Albany, GA. She was a homemaker, wife and mother. Helen loved to read and work in her garden.

Survivors include her husband, Tilford Epps of Worth County, GA, her daughter, Tammy Lindsey of Worth County, GA, three sons, Harold (Pam) Epps of Mitchell County, GA, Tommy (Susan) Driggers of Ruther Glen, VA and Tilford L. (Melissa) Epps, of Hiram, GA, a brother, Alfred Hall of Rebecca, GA, two sisters, Evelyn Scheeler of Ringgold, GA and Hazel Hatcher of Lee County, GA, eleven grandchildren, Kaylan, Dakota, Tristen, Dylan, Gavin, Kalista, Aedan, Austin, Taylor, Breanna and Justin and three great-grandchildren, Kason, Grayson and Sophie.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday before the service.
