Heather Nicole Carrington

Heather Nicole Carrington, 42, of Columbus, GA formerly of Albany, GA died Saturday, April 18, 2020 at her residence in Columbus, GA. Private graveside services will be conducted on Friday, April 24, 2020. Rev. John Spencer will officiate.

Heather was born in Albany, GA on March 29, 1978. She attended school in Albany and continued her education at Albany Technical College where she graduated and became a licensed cosmetologist. She owned and operated Heather’s Salon in Sylvester, GA and was presently employed with The Wade Companies in Columbus, GA.

Heather had a zest for life and loved spending time with family, friends and her many animals. She enjoyed coloring, crocheting and reading. She will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, William A. Baumgartel, Jr., John L. Davis, Jr. and grandmother, Betty Lou Edwards Carrington and she was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, a daughter Amber Cox, Baconton, GA and J. D. Cox, Ashburn, GA, her mother and father, Amy Baumgartel Carrington and Terry S. Carrington and a brother, T. J. Carrington all of Albany, GA, biological father, James Calvin Davis, grandparents,Cecil Carrington, Nettawil Davis and Toby Baumgartel.
