Heather Lynn Aycock

The funeral service of Heather Lynn Aycock, 17, and her infant son of Leesburg, GA who died Sunday May 1, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will be conducted Thursday May 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bryan Gerstel will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, Randolph Co., GA.

A native of Cairo, GA, Heather had resided in Leesburg, GA for most of her life. She attended Lee County Schools and was enrolled in Albany Technical College. She was of the Christian faith and was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nita Aycock.

Survivors include her parents, Timothy I. Aycock, Edison, GA and Teresa Lynn Aycock, Leesburg, GA, her boyfriend, Lewis Auburn Deangelis, Leesburg, GA, three brothers, B.J. Adams, III, Statesboro, GA, Cody Aycock and Brandon Aycock both of Arlington, GA, maternal grandparents, Buddy and Sue Christmas, Leesburg, GA, Edward (Super) and Donna Norman, Crestview, FL, maternal great-grandmother, Mary Corbett, Albany, GA, paternal grandfather, Alvin Aycock, Edison, GA, and a number of aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
