Harry Arthur (Butch) Peacock

Harry Arthur (Butch) Peacock, III, 66, of Pensacola, FL, died August 25, 2015 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, FL of pancreatic cancer.

Born and raised in Albany, GA, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving honorably in the US Navy and was awarded a National Defense Service Medal. Until retirement, he worked for Digital Equipment Corporation managing military and government contract sales.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cal Lee Davis and Elouise Eubanks Peacock Davis. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Dolores Ann Pent Peacock, and daughter Kimberly Ann Prewitt (Robert), all of Pensacola, FL, his siblings, Linda Faye Davis Owen, Carolyn Joanne Davis Jamison (Al), and Carl Lee "Sonny" Davis (Gerri Lynn), all of Albany, GA, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Public funeral services will be Saturday at 3:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Ralph Owen, Jr. will officiate. Private interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post #30.

The family will receive family and friends for public viewing one hour prior to the service. Those desiring may bring pictures or special memories to share.
