Harrell Madison Wall

Harrell Madison Wall, died Monday, January 25, 2016 at Pruitt Health Palmyra.

His funeral service will be 11 AM, Friday, January 29, 2016 at Mathews Funeral Home with interment at 2:00 PM at Tazewell United Methodist Church Cemetery in Marion County. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Born May 26, 1919 in Buena Vista, Georgia, Harrell grew up on a farm in Marion County in Central Georgia.
After the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor he enlisted with the Army Air Corp, serving as a pilot during World War II. He married Nell Jennings on January 26, 1941 in Tampa, Florida. They shared 75 loving years together.

Mr. Wall was Past Master of Masonic Lodge 24, member of the Scottish Rite, Hasan Shrine Temple,
Avalon Methodist Church, the American Legion and was retired from Time Warner Corp after a 30 year career. He is preceded in death by his brother, Horace Roberts Wall, and his parents Horace Madison and Carrie Roberts Wall.

Mr. Wall is survived by his wife, Nell Jennings Wall of Albany, Georgia, his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Kathy Wall of Dallas, and his grandchild Leslie Jennings Elliott of Dallas and her husband Chris, his sister Caroline Tondee and her husband Lawrence of Cordele, Georgia.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Harrell's name to the charity of their choice.
