Harold Kelley Stephens

Harold Kelley Stephens, 87, of Albany, GA, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Reagan Marsh, Rev. Ron Stinson and Rev. Fred Bell will officiate. Interment will follow at Zion Hope Cemetery in Crisp County, GA.

A native of Ft. Meyers, FL, Mr. Stephens was an aircraft mechanic for Gray Air Service for 38 years and an avid collector of stamps and coins. He was a member of the Model Engines Collectors Association, Air Masters Model Airplane Club, Eagle Scouts Order of the Arrow, The American Legion and Beacon Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by his wife, Correne Stephens and his parents, Arthur and Hattie Stephens.

Survivors include a son, Michael Stephens (Melissa) of Valdosta, two daughters, Beverly Wright (Henry) and Ginger Roberts both of Albany, GA, two brothers, James Stephens of Warner Robins, GA and Jack Stephens of Pinehurst, GA, a sister, Jaunita "Doll" Holton of Sparta, GA, five grandchildren, Stephen Roberts, Christina Stephens, Callie Stephens, Jessica Wright and Elizabeth Wright and a great-grandchild, Isabel Roberts.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 5, 2013 from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home.
