Harold Lee Johnson, Jr

Harold Lee Johnson, Jr., 53, of Leesburg, GA, died Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Viet Nam. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Steve Johnson and Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

Born in Albany, GA, Mr. Johnson had resided in Atlanta, GA and Marshville, NC. before returning to Leesburg, GA. He was a graduate of Riverview Academy, an engineer with Prime Metals Technology, Inc., and a member of Putney Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Irvin Johnson and a son, Harold Lee (Jay) Johnson, III both of Marshville, NC, parents, Harold L. Johnson, Sr. and Juanita Johnson, Leesburg, GA, a brother, Steve Johnson (Mallory), Albany, GA, three sisters, Jill Johnson Majewski (Harry), Milwaukee, WS, Patricia Johnson Osborn (Ricky), Stone Mountain, GA and Donna Johnson-McDonald (Steve), Albany, GA.

The family is at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Johnson, Sr., 101 Medley Dr., Leesburg, GA.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
