Harold Edward (Harry) Hilton

Harold Edward (Harry) Hilton, 81, of Leesburg, GA, died January 30, 2013 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Leesburg Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Stephan Massey will officiate.

A native of Calhoun County, GA, born to the late Charlie and Eunice Hilton, he graduated from Edison High School and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Unites States Navy. He had resided in Leesburg, GA for the past forty years moving from Moultrie, GA and was a retired inspector with the Federal - State Inspection Services.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice Chapman Hilton, a son, Kirk Hilton (Sara), a daughter, Penny Stroud (Tony), his grandchildren, Ashley Tomlinson, Lauren Tomlinson, Andrew Stroud and Heather Hilton, all of Leesburg, GA, two sisters, Betty Ivey (Vernon) of Albany, GA and Lousie Vann (Jack), Lake Butler, FL, a brother, Wilbur Hilton (Sharon), Edison, GA and a good friend, Mike Irvin, Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
