Harold Edwin Gresham

Harold Edwin Gresham, 77, of Albany, GA, died Friday, August 30, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Dr. William E. (Butch) Knight will officiate. Interment will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rome, GA. Rev. Jim Newsome will officiate.

A native of Rome, GA, Mr. Gresham was born to the late Elliot Vincent Gresham and Lillie Crozier Gresham. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and was the district manager for Georgia Power in Albany, GA before retirement. He had resided in Albany, GA since 1994 moving from Cornelia, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Melinda Garmany Gresham, Albany, GA, a son Hal Gresham and his wife Nancy, Dunwoody, GA, two daughters, Kenda Gresham, Walhalla, SC, Jill Tiller and her husband Wade, Universal City, TX and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Mathews Funeral Home.
