Greg Allen Miller, Sr.

Greg Allen Miller, Sr., of Smithville, died Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Phoebe Sumter. 

His memorial service will be Friday 11 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.  Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. 

A native of Maquoketa, IA, Mr. Miller had lived in Lee County since 2015.  He was a veteran serving in the U. S. Navy and owned and operated Miller’s Metal Roofing. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Mary Helen Clark Miller and a sister Nancy Foster. 

Survivors include his children, Greta Amerson, Warwick, Greg “Binky” Miller,  Wauwatos, WI, grandchildren Tucker Amerson, Gavin and Avery Miller, sisters, Penny Schnoor (Steve), Emeline, IA, Ruth Strong, Watauga, TX, Shelia Landers, Ely, IA, Joleen Boland (John), Parkview, IA,  Julie Frye (Dale), brothers, Russell Miller (Kaylene), Cedar Rapids, IA, Howard Miller, (Sharon), Oxford Junction, IA, David Clark (Lisa), Maquoketa, IA, Martin Miller (Lisa), step sister, Lillian Sevoian (Zaven), brother in law Dave Foster, Marin, IA, special friend, Vickie Pelham, Smithville, the mother of his children, Cheryl Miller, Warwick and several aunts, uncles cousins, nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends Friday from 10 to 11 AM at Mathews Funeral Home.
