Grady Claude Stone

Grady Claude Stone, 71, of Baconton, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at his residence.

His graveside funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 24, 2021 at Travelers Rest Cemetery in Newton, GA. Mr. Roosevelt Robbins will officiate.

A native of Sylvester, GA, Mr. Stone was retired from Vanguard Services. He, along with his sons owned S & S Racing, where they are known at all the local and nearby tracks. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, camping, bonfire, country music, swimming, grilling and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Roynell Stone and George Stone, and a grandson Banks Claude Stone.

Survivors include his wife Geraldine Ethridge Stone, children, Rex Anthony Stone (Tasha) Jeffery Brian Stone, Travis Dean Stone( Amber), his brother, Grover Stone (Dianna), grandchildren, Ruby Marie Yancey (Dannie), Ryan Claude Stone (Jaycee), Waylon Stone, Dustin Brian Stone, Cole Brady Stone, Jeffery James Stone, Wyatt Dean Stone, Laney Jean Stone, Shannon Faulk (Jason), Brianna Woodhan, great grandchildren, Miles Yancey, Amelia Yancey, Ryleigh Stone, Jordyn Faulk, Morgan Faulk, Laurann Faulk.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
