Grace Norton Hatcher

Grace N. Hatcher, 101, of Albany, GA died January 20, 2015 at Golden Apple Assisted Living Center in Moultrie, GA. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Joe Jones will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hatcher was born in Marietta, GA to the late Frank and Emma Norton. She grew up in Tennille, GA and moved to Albany, GA in 1971. She was a homemaker and Grace Norton Hatcher, 101, of Albany, GA, died January 20, 2015 at Golden Apple in Moultrie, a Jehovah's Witness attending The Us 19 South Congregation.

She was preceded by her children, Travis Hatcher, Don Hatcher and Mavis May.

Survivors include eight grandchildren, Kathy Gregory and her husband, Edwin of Crisp County, GA Richard May of Lee County, GA, Debra May of Doerun, GA, Larry May of Lee County, GA, Patricia Bruce and her husband, William of Lavonia, GA, Donnie Hatcher and his wife Linda of Texas and Kenneth Hatcher of Jesup, GA and many great and great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
