Gordon Ricky Clark

Ricky Clark, 58, of Lee County, GA, formerly of Damascus, GA died March 3, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Hopeful Baptist Church in Mitchell County, GA. Dr. William E. (Butch) Knight, Jr. and Rev. Doug Hall will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Steve Dunn, Tommy Dunn, Grady Fulghum, Matthew Dunn, Blake Dukes and Jeremy Rathel will serve as active pallbearers.

A native of Moultrie, GA, Ricky grew up in Thomasville, GA and Hopeful, GA. He graduated from Bainbridge Christian Academy in 1975 and attended Bainbridge Junior College. Ricky worked for the family business for over thirty years at Clark's Grocery in Hopeful, GA and Brady's Food Basket in Damascus, GA. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Albany, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Tonia Dunn Clark of Lee County, GA, his mother, Clarice Clark of Hopeful, GA, his children, Angela Clark of Thomasville, GA and Brad Clark and his wife, Sommer of Lee County, GA, his grandchildren (known as Pappy to them) are McKinley Clark and Brantley Clark, a sister, Gail Fulghum and her husband, Grady of Damascus, GA, his in-laws, Rev. Carl J. and Janice Dunn of Albany, GA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Brady Clark.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Mathews Funeral Home.
