Gonzalo Andres Valdes-Trench

Gonzalo Andres Valdes, 32, died in Albany, Georgia on Monday, October 2, 2017. A memorial will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 5:30 pm at Mathews Funeral Home in Albany, Georgia. Visitation with the family will follow from 6-8:00 pm.

Gonzalo was born December 31, 1984 in Santiago, Chile. He moved to Albany in 1995 and worked as a maintenance technician at Pfizer in Albany. He is remembered by his family and friends for his easy smile, his dark, twisted humor, quick wit, and how he was always there when he was needed. He was an amazing father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, and friend.

He is survived by his fiancé, Misty Dean, his four children, Kaila Valdes, Addison Valdes, Shade Valdes, Lucas Valdes, his mother and step-father, Edith Trench and Juan Carlos Jofre, his father and step-mother, Gonzalo and Pamela Valdes, his siblings, Katalina Valdes, Natalia Valdes, Christian Jofre, and Sara Jofre.
