Gloria Faye Williams

Faye was born on February 25, 1945 in Dothan, AL and graduated from Houston County High School in 1963.  She moved to Lee County, GA in 1977 and drove a Lee County Special Needs Bus for eighteen years.  Faye was active with her late husband, Don Williams in their business, Williams Transmission.  She was a member of Kinchafoonee Baptist Church and Sunday school teacher. Her hobbies included picking fresh vegetables, cooking the most amazing meals, including her infamous dressing and she was an avid bowler for many years. She loved her mornings drinking coffee with Don and reviewing her Bible. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Milam, her husband Don Williams and brothers John, Joe and Terry  Roberson. 

Survivors include her children, Gloria (Roger) Sullivan and Peggy Parks all of Lee County, GA, her step-children, Donna (Darrell) Sambor of Millbrook, AL, Alan (Amy) Williams of Worth County, GA and Joey (Ramsey) Williams of Walpole, NH, her grandchildren, Scott (Jessica) Milam, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN, Nathan (Stephanie) Milam of Senoia, GA, Joshua (Jordan) Milam of Tampa, FL, Brandon White of Lee County, GA, Tiffany (J.D.) Pollock of Columbus, GA, Anna Parks (Blake) and Ansley Parks both of Lee County, GA, her step-grandchildren, Cohl Williams, Chase (Alex) Williams and Adam Sambor and 13 great-grandchildren. Siblings Kay and Bubba Kirkland. 

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
