Gloria Darlene Freeman

Gloria Darlene Freeman of Georgia died Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Freeman requested to be cremated with no formal service held at this time.

 Darlene was born in Eastman, GA., to the late Ed and Joyce Strickland. She had an infectious personality and was very dedicated to her family and friends, spending as much of her time with them as possible. She helped to raise a number of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was committed to seeing them become the best versions of themselves. Having lived in several places throughout her life, Darlene experienced a lifetime of adventures and new stories and made positive impacts on the people she loved the most. Swimming, traveling, and relaxing with a movie were some of the things she enjoyed most in her spare time.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Freeman, and three siblings, Debra Miller, Keith Mincey, and Angel Smith.

 Survivors include her children, Shonda Davis, Wayne Davis, Heather Freeman, and Skylar Davis, her grandchildren, Josh Davis, Tiffany Davis, Ashley Davis, Keltsy Watts, T .J. Watts, and Dalton Davis, her siblings, Buddy Mincey, Kel Mincey, Candy Sapp and Rita Calhoun and nine great-grandchildren
