Glenda Faye Freeman

Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Mathews Funeral Home with interment to follow in Leesburg Cemetery.  Pastor Ike Branch will officiate. 

Born in Tifton, Mrs. Free had lived in the Albany area since 1974 and was retired from Container Connection as a Bookkeeper.  She had worked many years with Building Materials Wholesale and was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene.   

She loved to cheer for the bulldogs a, Braves watching birds and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Freeman. 

Survivors include her children, Bobby Keith Woods, Chris Woods, Blythe Henderson (Mike), Hope Norris (Kevin), grandchildren, Nathan Lane, Tyler White, Morgan Woods, Owen Woods, Ethan Bullington, Joshua Judy, Layla Freeman, Lorelia Norris, Luna Norris, great grandchildren, Jaxon and Bodhi Judy, brother, Tony Oliver, close friends Von Rogers, Angel Willbanks, and her four-legged child Lilly. 

The family will receive friends 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Mathews Funeral Home.
