Glenda Jean Daniel

Glenda Jean Daniel, 79, of Sylvester, GA, died November 24, 2024 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Mathews Funeral Home. Garland Bafford will officiate.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. 

Jean was born in Moultrie, GA on February 23, 1945 to Eulia and Thereisa Lastinger. She was raised in Albany, GA, and lived mostly in Moultrie, GA. In 1963 Jean married O.H. Daniel. Jean was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Jean enjoyed crocheting and coloring. She also enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers. Camping and taking care of everyone was also something she enjoyed. 

Survivors include her son, Steffon (Sherry) Daniel of Sylvester, GA, her siblings, Wyatt (Angie) Lastinger of Atlanta, GA, Patricia Howerton of Sylvester, GA and Tommy (Gloria) Lastinger of Albany, GA, her grandchildren, Stefannie (Drew) Abney of Baconton, GA and Sabrina (Jason) Joiner of Moultrie, GA, and her great-grandchildren, Spencer Daniel, Sylvester, GA, Keegan Abney of Baconton, GA, Mathis Joiner and Millie Joiner both of Moultrie, GA. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
