Geraldine Chalker

Geraldine M. Chalker, 90, of Albany, GA, died September 16, 2017 at Parkwood Nursing Home in Phenix City, AL. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. A native of Ozark, AL, Mrs. Chalker was born to John R. and Junie Miller on October 12, 1926. She graduated from Dale County High School in 1945 and married the late Jack Chalker. She was a military wife and she and her husband moved to Albany, GA in 1974. She was a homemaker, caregiver, and loved music. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mylan Chalker Hart and two brothers, Mickey Miller and Miles Miller. Survivors include a brother, John F. Miller and his wife, Annette of Albany, GA, a sister, Robynel M. Harden of Columbus, GA, two nieces, Kathryn Delffs and her husband, Johnny of Columbus, GA and Janet Miller Hayes and her husband, Hank of Albany, GA and a nephew, Gene Harden and his wife, Kym of Columbus, GA.
