Gerald T.Vititoe "Tommy", 57, of Albany, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Hanna will officiate. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Tommy was born in Oak Hill, Ohio and has resided in Albany, GA since 1961. He began working for Keenan Auto Parts after graduating from Dougherty High School and has worked in the auto parts industry for thirty eight years.
Tommy was a loving husband and father to two wonderful sons and will be remembered by others as a "brother who always had the best advice." He will surely be missed by all those whose lives he had touched. Tommy was a special person who left an everlasting impression wherever he went.
Tommy was a diehard football fan who would always cheer on the Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Bulldogs.
Tommy was preceded in death by his mother Judy Vititoe and a brother Timothy Vititoe. Survivors include his loving wife Phyllis Vititoe of Albany, GA, two sons Jeremy Vititoe and Gary Vititoe both of Albany, GA, his father Joe (Betty) Vititoe of Sasser, GA, brothers Tony Vititoe of Sasser, GA, and Eddie Joe (Brenda) Crawley of Albany, GA, sisters Sue (Arthur) Easom of Sylvester, GA, and Dottie Miller of Sasser, GA, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
