Gerald Fowler Junkin

Gerald Fowler Junkin, 79, of Lee County, GA died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Andersonville National Cemetery. Doug Junkin will officiate.

A native of Little Rock, AR, Mr. Junkin had resided in the Lee County area for the past four years, coming from Kentucky. He was a member of VFW Post #2785 and a retired U.S. Army Infantry Staff Sergeant.

Survivors include his wife Paula Junkin of Lee County, GA, two sons, Gerald Wayne Junkin (Judy) of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Douglas Alan Junkin (Pam) of Springfield, MO, one daughter, Danita Lynn Wilson (Kieth) of Alabany, GA, one brother, Carter Junkin of Florida, one sister, Lyda of California, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
