George Randolph Scott

George R. Scott, 64, of Albany, GA, died December 25, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Mark Knight will officiate.
A native of Savannah, TN, born to the late James Franklin and Ellamae Vernon Scott, Mr. Scott was a veteran of the United States Army. He had resided in Albany, GA since 1991 moving from Crumpler, NC and retired after thirty years as a truck driver from Bridgeston/Firestone. Mr. Scott was also a member of the Teamsters Union and was formerly employed with AAA Concrete and Albany Auto Auction.
Survivors include his wife, Martha J. Scott of Albany, GA, two sons, John Scott of Crumpler, NC and Brian Scott and his wife, Lisa of Piney Creek, NC, four brothers, James Scott and his wife, Susan of Decatur, AL, Donald Scott and his wife, Michelle of Hartsell, NC, David Scott and Tommy Scott both of Falkville, AL, two sisters, Sheila Young and her husband, Rathel of Falkville, AL and Mary Pierce and her husband, Jerry of Vinemont, AL and a granddaughter, Alexis Scott of Piney Creek, NC.
The family will receive friends at their residence.
