Geneva L. Daughtry

Geneva L. Daughtry, 98, of Albany, GA formerly of Sylvania, GA, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2014 at her daughter's home in Albany, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM at First Christian Church in Sylvania, GA. Interment will follow at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Daughtry was born in Screven County, GA and lived there all of her life before moving to Albany twelve years ago. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Sylvania, GA, retired from White Stag Company and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Faye D. Raines of Albany, GA, two granddaughters and their husbands, Cindy (Kip) Adams of Newnan, GA, and Julie (Keith) Chandler of Albany, GA, four great-grandsons, Thomas Keith Chandler (Megan) of Dawson, GA, Taylor Daughtry Chandler of Albany, GA, Blake Kipling Adams of Atlanta, GA and Mills Davis Adams of Athens, GA. Also two very special caregivers, Shirley Davis and Helen G. Idlett.

Mrs. Daughtry was under the care of Southern Care Hospice, Moultrie, GA and nurses Celeste, Melissa, and Elizabeth.
