Gary Lee Astolos

Gary Lee Astolos, 65, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. No formal funeral services will be held. Mr. Astolos desired to be cremated and his urn will be placed next to his late wife Betty Jane Stephens Astolos in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Gary was born and raised in Saltsburg, PA, and served in the United States Navy. He had resided in Albany since 1972 and was employed with the Marine Corps Logistics Base. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Goldie and Louis Astolos, a brother Louis Astolos, Jr. and a sister Anna Nagg.
Survivors include nephews Andrew Nagg III and Bradley Louis Astolos, a niece Jennifer Leah Astolos Livingston, cousins Carl Lee Carnahan, Patricia D. Moser, James D. Libengood, Samuel Astolos, Jr. Charles Astolos, and Gay Astolos, a niece-in-law Wendy McConnell, and sisters-in-law Gail Peterman and Lois Ridley.
